We grew up at the feet of our mother, who has dedicated over 40 years to the world of fashion. Watching her, we didn’t just learn how to design; we learned how to honor our heritage through every thread.
While Amanuel focuses on bringing our vision to the world online, Lidya leads the creative heart of our shop on the ground in Ethiopia. Together, we have taken those 40 years of wisdom and infused them with a modern, chic perspective. Our name, Shib Shib, celebrates the traditional beauty of fabric that is intricately “crammed” to create a design uniquely our own, a texture that carries the history and soul of Ethiopian and Eritrean culture.
