Because our pieces are made to order, our shipping process reflects the time and attention required to deliver a high-quality garment. Below, you will find detailed information regarding our production timelines, domestic and international shipping rates, and our commitment to ensuring your order arrives safely.
Production & Processing Time
Every dress is handcrafted to your specific requirements. Please note our timelines:
- Order Processing: Once an order is placed, it takes 1–2 working days to process.
- Production Timeline: Standard production takes 10–30 working days.
- Ready-to-Wear Items: If a dress is already made, please allow 3–7 working days for final processing or minor adjustments before shipment.
- Custom & Made-to-Order: For custom-sized or made-to-order dresses, the production timeline is 3–30 working days (depending on the complexity of the design).
- Measurement Confirmation: For custom orders, the production timeline begins only after you have confirmed your final measurements.
- Express Production: If you need your dress sooner, we offer Express Production. Please see the “Express Shipping” section below for details.
Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates
We offer both local and international shipping. All high-value items require a signature upon delivery to ensure they reach you safely.
1. International Shipping
- Standard Shipping: $50 USD (Flat Rate).
- Delivery Time: 7–10 working days on average via DHL or EMS.
- Express Production & Shipping: $90 USD total. This covers both expedited crafting and faster handling.
2. Local Shipping (Ethiopia)
- Addis Ababa: Free delivery.
- Outside Addis Ababa: 2,000 ETB (Flat Rate).
Customs, Duties & Taxes
For international orders, please be aware that your destination country may apply customs duties or local taxes.
- Customer Responsibility: Any additional tax or duty related to the destination country must be paid by the customer.
- Invoicing: These charges are not handled by Shib Shib Shop and are usually collected by the carrier (DHL/EMS) at the time of delivery.
Delivery Issues & Refunds
We strive for perfection, but if something goes wrong during transit:
- Lost Packages: If a package is lost by the carrier, we offer a full refund or the option to remake your dress at no additional cost.
- Address Accuracy: Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout. If a package is lost due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, we will work with you individually to find a resolution with the shipping company or remake the item with additional cost to the customer.
